The restaurant’s name is a tribute to owner Kevin Gillespie’s family. Growing up, his father worked seven days a week to provide a better life for his family. On the rare Sunday afternoon he had off, father and son would go to a gun show.
Yes, each guest receives a menu at their table that includes a list of dishes and available beverages that you will see during your experience. Each time you order a drink, a server will mark your menu so you can keep track of what you’ve tried so far.
With adequate notice prior to your reservation, we will do our best to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions with the products that we are serving. At this time, we cannot accommodate a vegan tasting menu.

We are a small restaurant and aren’t able to accept a lot of walk-ins, so when a reservation cancels, we cannot recover the loss from that table, which impacts our entire team. If we are able to fill those seats we may not charge a fee. If you need to rebook your reservation less that 48 hours before your reservation, please feel free to reach out to us via and we will kindly rebook your reservation.
Simply put: just let the food come to you. The person who prepared the dish will walk over to your table and describe his/her dish. Feel free to ask questions! You can place orders for drinks, merch, etc. with your server.
Gunshow was designed to have zero separation between guests and the kitchen. We felt like this would increase the quality of experience and give people a real taste of what is going on. Actually, the entire restaurant is a kitchen so whatever goes on in a kitchen (bright lights, no sound deafening panels) goes on in the entire restaurant.
Reservations are available through Resy for parties of 7 or less. We only take reservations for 1 month in advance of the date the reservation is made. We welcome walk-ins on a first come-first serve basis though we can not guarantee availability.
Parking is available in the Glenwood parking lot behind Gunshow and on the street.
No, come as you are! Our focus is to provide a comfortable environment that showcases the amount of effort and detail that our chefs and bartenders put into their creations.
